Rhonda, Rhonda, Rhonda!!!! This Sunday, Mar 24, one of our favorite singer/songwriters of all time, Rhonda Stakich, is doing a matinee showcase of stuff off of her forthcoming album at the Lomography Store, 536 Queen St. West.
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event as it starts a 3pm on a Sunday, so no excuses this time moms and dads.

She'll be previewing stuff we recorded at Blue Rodeo's Studio and engineered by Tim Vessely of the Rheostatics. Joining her will be Gord Mowat, Neil Hendry, Tim Shia and opening will be Yoshiko from Japan.

After 2 years of punching, kicking, screaming and crying, the fight many analysts have deemed 'The Most Annoying Fight of All-Time' has finally ended.
The epic bout, held high above the earth's stratosphere concluded this weekend in a stunning turn of events when PPF House representative, Howie, who many had expected to lose, beat the heavily favored Jane into submission with a move reminiscent of a young Royce Gracie. With his last minute heroics, Jane, as per the conditions of the fight, has been forced to relinquish her freedom and is now an eternal servant of the Shia clan.
In all seriousness though, we want to congratulate Howie and Jane and wish them a million years of awesomeness and high fives. Welcome to the fam Jane.
